June 9 - 10, 2014 - Texas, vast land and long roads
Texas is a really large state, and the city to city roads leads at least couple of hundreds miles; long long driving and hot temperature.   If you feel yourself as Macho and need a job for living, then Texas is your home. While driving, I only see; 90% of traffic, the white work (4x4) trucks and semi trucks. There are a few passenger cars on the road.   Even at the gas station, clerk asked me if I am looking for the job and said there are many many jobs available. Why she asked me that? Ha ha ha, I didn't get a good nice shower for a week, stinky smells and tired looking.

This time of road trip, I skipped the sourthern part of the Texas, as I had road trip those area before. On the road; Interstate 20, to the Ft. Worth from Odessa, whole 360 degrees lands are plain desert, no vertical landscapes at all; not even small mounds in sight to the 300 - 400 miles road trip.   Endless oil digging wells, some large ranches, and the very large scale wind farm. I guess that those wind farms are the largest scale in the world? For miles of roads, the wind turbines are stood on the whole area; about 5-10 miles around the main hwy. And some interesting part on the road is that all the hwy rest area has internet data signal (at least 3g). The phone cell towers could do job well on the plain lands for the long range area???

At June 9, I stayed at the Odessa Walmart, and at June 10 stayed at the Ft. Worth Walmart. At Odessa, I had changed my RV's engine oil with synthetic, as I do long and frequent driving currently; may not needed it but after oil change I felt that RV runs better (or, just feeling).

At the Ft. Worth, I slept with cows, just few feets away from RV parking place... ha ha ha
