June 22, 2014 - (Special Diary) Lexington, KY (Filefly - Lightning Bug In The City)
I always thought that firefly would not live in the environment like city noisy areas.
After a good long driving (details in the next diary), I made parking at the place on the Walmart.
Did not noticed the fireflys are around me until the sun goes down.
When I get out of the rv to get some fresh air, a small bug is flying by me and flashing.
Wow, small bug is flashing itself and hiding behind the small tree; it is the firefly (lightning bug).
Got the camera, and try to follow him, then, I found there are hundreds of fireflys around the trees at the edge of the parking lot.
Tried to take videos of them as long as I could, until the sun goes down fully. (one of the security-police came by and asked me what is going on... ^^;)
Today, I am in the fairy tails story book. Hundreds of fireflys will lightning my night dreams; hope good story.
